During the panel discussion, “Mental Health in the Workplace: Turning Care Into Action”, our Managing Director, Victor Ioannides, shared his perspective on the role of employee benefits in supporting workplace wellbeing.
His message was clear: employee wellbeing is about more than simply providing benefits. It is about making sure employees understand what is available to them, can access support easily, trust the solutions provided and feel comfortable using them when they need help.

The evening was made even more memorable by Marcos Baghdatis, who shared his personal journey from leaving Cyprus at the age of 14 to becoming a world-class tennis player.
His story offered a powerful reminder of the importance of resilience, determination and self-belief, particularly when facing challenges and uncertainty.
These qualities resonate just as strongly in the workplace, where supporting people through challenges and creating an environment in which they can thrive are essential to long-term wellbeing.
